While drinks is not the main topic of my blog, people often remember some of my drink videos and often dm me for the recipe. I am very flattered that my very amateur videos have gotten some attention:). This is a summary of some of my favorite Summer Drinks which include refreshing lemonades, agua frescas, cocktails and iced coffees. Thank you!

    Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade

Double or triple this recipe if you have people over for Memorial Day weekend or 4th of July parties. It’s refreshing, delicious and soooo perfect to help cool off on these hot summer days.

    Frozen Watermelon Margarita

This sweet, tangy watermelon margarita is a perfect drink to enjoy by the ocean or by the pool on a hot day. We love making this drink at home for my husband and myself or whipe up a big blender batch if we have friends over. You just need few ingredients: fresh watermelon, limes, tequila, triple sec and salt or sugar for the rim.

    Frozen Aperol Spritz

I love the classic Aperol Spritz and I love this Frozen Aperol Spritz which is almost like a tropical twist to the classic Italian recipe.

This strawberry limeade is similar to a Strawberry Agua Fresca because it uses fresh and simple ingredients: strawberries, limes, cane sugar and water.

    Guava Margarita

Guava or Guyaba is such a treat, we love all kinds of recipes with guava, especially pastelitos with guava and cheese. But you can give the traditional margarita a twist if you make it with guava nectar for a more tropical taste. You won’t regret it!

    Mango Passion Fruit Rum Cocktail

Mango passion fruit (maracuya) is a match made in heaven. It’s especially delicious on a cocktail because it mixes sweet and tangy fruity flavors in a slushy drink! So good for poolside sipping:).

    Pineapple Margarita

This pineapple margarita can have some hints of spice if you add some jalapeños to it, as much or as little as you can handle. This is an amazing drink that is perfect if you’re hosting this summer. Don’t forget to salt the rim:).

    Tamarind Agua Fresca

Tamarind Agua Fresca or Agua Fresca de Tamarindo is a refreshing lemonade made with tamarind fruit, water and sugar. So simple!! You have to try this refreshing drink over ice in the summertime. Soo so good:).

    Meyer Lemon Margarita

Living in Florida, we are exposed to heat and humidity that can be suffocating in summer months. A simple refreshing drink can turn hot in a few minutes, but frozen drinks definitely last longer so that’s why I tend to favor frozen drink for poolside parties in summer time. Now mix anything frozen with a citrus blend and you have a winning recipe:). Hope you like this Frozen Meyer Lemons Margarita!

    Pineapple Passion Fruit Refresher

My kids love Starbucks Refresher drink but at $6 and up per each one, they can add up fast in expenses. So I decided to make my own refresher, I am not sure how close to the Starbucks version this is, but my kids love it and I am happy. Plus I can make a whole pitcher and have it in the refrigerator for everyone to cool off:).

    Iced Hazelnut Shaken Espresso

I love hazelnut flavor in many recipes, not just drinks. But this shaken hazelnut iced espresso is such a delicious drink for summer. Driving around in South Florida feels like a furnace sometimes and I treat myself to this hazelnut shaken espresso so the drive doesn’t feel so bad. Hope you like it too if you like iced coffees!

    Spanish Tinto de Verano

We were lucky to spend some time in Spain this summer, meeting family, going to a wedding and exploring large cosmopolitan cities like Madrid and Barcelona but also smaller historical towns like Toledo, Tarragona, Figueroa and much more. I have so much to say about Spanish food, wines and culture but as it pertains to this post I hope you want to check out my version of Spanish Tinto de Verano summer drink.
