Mom of 2, wife, engineer, food blogger & recipe creator! Sonila was born in Albania, her heritage inspires her Mediterranean recipes while that of her husband the Latin ones. Sonila has 2 degrees in Engineering from University of Miami.
I’m very passionate about Albanian food since I grew up eating what my mom and grandparents cooked in a multigenerational household. Albanian cuisine is one of the hidden gems of the Mediterranean & Balkan regions and I hope to share a little bit of it through my blog.
My husband was born in Bolivia and throughout the years we have known each other, I have learned to cook or adapt some Bolivian recipes. I’m fascinated by this cuisine, not only the modern renditions but also the traditions that created the stepping stones for what Bolivian food is today.
