This Mango Strawberry Salsa is a delight for the senses. We serve it as dip with tortilla chips or as a topping over chicken or fish. The combination of sweet mangoes and strawberries with tart limes, heat from jalapeños and cilantro and salt makes for such an amazing flavor pack in one bite!
0.5red onionsince onions come in various sizes, I estimate about half a cup of chopped red onion
1cupfresh cilantro
1jalapeño
1tspsea salt
1lime
Instructions
Peel and chop mangoes in cube size pieces. Chop grape tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro and strawberries. Add all the chopped ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Add sea salt over the ingredients. And finally squeeze 1 lime over the ingredients. If lime is not very juicy or it is small, feel free to squeeze more than 1 lime.
Mix all the ingredients well together. Refrigerate for about 1 hour then serve as a dip or topping for grilled food. Enjoy:)).
Notes
You can make the salsa in about 5 minutes, it's so quick. I love to let it chill for an hour before serving so the flavors marinate together. But if in a hurry, there's nothing wrong to serve right away:).
