pinchsaltsalt to taste. Please note that parmesan is salty so you might not need to add additional salt.
0.5 cupolive oilYou might do less oil if you like but increase half & half then.
Instructions
Mix almond flour in a bowl with baking powder. Put aside.
Grate gruyere cheese and put aside as well. Measure a cup of parmesan cheese and put aside.
Beat the eggs for a minute or so. Add almond flour mix and keep mixing. Then add the flaxseed powder.
Add both cheeses, half & half, and oil at the same time. Add salt if desired. I personally added only a pinch because both cheeses have enough salt.
Mix everything well ( i used a wooden spoon). Pour into a baking dish. I used a loaf baking dish 9X5. You can grease the dish with butter or oil very lightly before pouring the dough.
Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes in regular oven or until the top of the bread is golden brown. If baking in a toaster oven, you might need less time. Mine baked in around 30 minutes.
Once bread is ready, remove from oven and place in a cooling rack for 10 minutes.
Slice and serve warm:). Enjoy!! Store in the refrigerator and toast the next morning for breakfast.
Notes
Please make sure to get real parmesan cheese, shredded from the deli department or a block of cheese you can shred yourself. Don't buy the bottled one!
