Rinse, drain and clean the cranberries from any impurities and remove the soft ones.
Set 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar to boil in medium heat on a medium sauce pot. Once syrup boils, lower heat to low and let cook for 5 minutes.
Add cranberries and immediately remove pot from heat. Use a slotted spoon to remove cranberries from syrup. Use a platter with remaining 1 cup of sugar spread very thin, add cranberries on sugar and roll. Remove and place on a flat surface.

Cranberry Moscow Mule
Fill a copper mug with 1 cup of crushed ice.
Add 2 oz of vodka, 2 ozs of cranberry juice and 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice. Then add ginger beer to the rim, usually about 4 ozs or so.
Top off cocktail with sugared cranberries and garnish with a lime slice. Other garnishes that work well as rosemary and mint!! Enjoy:).
Notes
Please note that this amount of sugared cranberries is enough for at least 6 servings, you can't prepare each serving separately so it's better to have a batch.
The drink recipe is shown in individual serving amounts.
Prepare the sugared cranberries the night before.
Nutritional values are an estimate as not all the sugar in the syrup is absorbed by the cranberries and not all the sugar for rolling the cranberries sticks to them.
