This Christmas Coconut Cocktail is the perfect holiday drink. It is inspired by Puerto Rican Coquito and this version has no egg yolks. Cheers / Salud :)
It takes less than 10 minutes to prepare this drink, but I love it chilled so try to prepare it ahead of time when you have guests. An alternative to chilling is keeping the cans in the refrigerator and prepare before serving.
Mix the coconut milk, condensed milk, rum and stir very well. You can also blend it in low speed if desired.
Add cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and refrigerate.
Serve over ice cubes and decorate with cinnamon sticks.
Notes
1.Additional Ingredients- you can also use some vanilla extract or any other spices. And if you love eggnog flavor you can add the egg yolks. 2. If this drink seems too sweet for your taste, adjust the recipe by including 1.5 cups of coconut milk (unsweetened) and a splash more rum but don't increase the condensed milk.
